Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition
Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: Everglades to Okefenokee
“Excellent film about an incredible adventure to highlight an ambitious goal.”
— Paul Tritaik, Manager, J.N. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge
Can you still hike through modern Florida, unimpeded by traffic? This hour-long documentary follows four contemporary explorers on their 1,000 mile journey against the wind, up the river and through the mud from the southern tip of the Florida Everglades to Georgia’s Okefenokee Swamp on this epic expedition. Their journey shares the story of how peninsular Florida, despite being one of the most developed areas in the nation, still has enough land to create a connected corridor for wildlife.
